Looking for a family-friendly Halloween or fall event in Wellington, Royal Palm Beach, Loxahatchee, Loxahatchee Groves, The Acreage or Westlake?

Royal Palm Beach Rock-N-Fall Festival

What: Postponed because of Hurricane Ian; includes a Funzone, pumpkin carving, pet costume contest, carnival games, a Ferris wheel, bounce house, corn maze, petting zoo and live entertainment

Where: Commons Park, 11600 Poinciana Blvd., Royal Palm Beach

When: 1 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, and 1 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 9

Admission: Free, with some additional costs for food and activities

Information: The Kiss Alive tribute band headlines Saturday night’s event, while The Longrun Eagles tribute performs Sunday. For more information, go to www.royalpalmbeach.com.

Wellington Fall Festival

What: Bounce houses, costume contests, entertainment, face painting, food trucks, hay rides, inflatable UV axe throwing, laser tag, petting zoo, pie eating contests, trick-or-treating and more than 30 vendors

Where: Village Park, 11700 Pierson Road, Wellington

When: 3 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15

Admission: Free, but children need All-Access Bracelets to participate in activities. Buy bracelets in advance for $7 per child and $5 per adult at Village Park or the Wellington Community Center, 12150 Forest Hill Blvd. Bought the day of the event, bracelets will be $10 per child and $5 per adult. Children ages 2 and younger are free.

Information: A Quiet Area will be available in the Village Park Gym, rooms 2A and 2B. Sensory bags also will be available to check out for free. The Quiet Area and bags are part of Wellington’s partnership with KultureCity to help make the event inclusive for all attendees. Happy Jack’s Pumpkin Patch

What: You Farm and Basore Family Farms partner for this pumpkin patch with photo opportunities, games, scavenger hunts, hayrides, live music and entertainment, and more.

Where: You Farm, 16651 Rembrandt Road, Loxahatchee

When: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Oct. 31, closed Tuesdays

Admission: $5 weekdays; $10 Friday-Sunday; $12 Oct. 30-31

Community of Hope Pumpkin Patch

What: Traditional pumpkin patch with fresh-baked treats and photo spots.

Where: Community of Hope, 14055 Okeechobee Blvd., Loxahatchee Groves

When: 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday-Sunday through Oct. 30

Admission: Free, with costs per pumpkin or gourd. Money raised supports Community of Hope’s student ministry.

Spookyville

What: Come in costume to trick-or-treat at Spookyville at Yesteryear Village, with live entertainment, train rides, story telling and more.

Where: Yesteryear Village at the South Florida Fairgrounds, 601-7 Sansbury’s Way

When: 5 to 9 p.m. Oct. 21, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 22-23, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Oct. 29-30, 5 to 9 p.m. Oct. 31

Admission: $10 per person

Spooky Treat Trio

What: Create spooky sweets such as a witch’s hat, marshmallow ghost and doughnut spider.

Where: Acreage Branch Library, 15801 Orange Blvd.

When: 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22

Admission: Free

Halloween Crawl

What: Hop in your car and hit up the list of participating businesses and residents for on-the-go trick-or-treating, organized by Aimee Weisberger Stern of the Mom’s Club of Wellington Facebook group.

When: Begins at 11 a.m. Oct. 22

Admission: Free

Halloween Fun at the Farm

What: Wear your costume for the costume parade. Enjoy a spooky walk-through, pony rides, farm animals, miniature horses, story telling, fortune teller and trick-or-treating.

Where: Delmar Farm, in Loxahatchee near Lion Country Safari

When: 3 to 4:30 p.m. Oct. 22

Admission: $30 per child with one adult; $5 for each additional adult

Information: This event is for ages toddler to 11. Reservations are required. Text or call 561-315-9516. Bring a treat bag for trick-or-treating, and if you can, bring a pumpkin as a treat for the animals.

Family Karaoke Trick or Treat Party

What: Painting, karaoke, costume contest and more

Where: Art Cellar, 10660 Forest Hill Blvd., Wellington

When: 4 to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22

Admission: $50 for a family of two, $20 for each additional family member

Family Movie Night at the Pumpkin Patch

What: Watch “Spookley the Square Pumpkin” in a pumpkin patch

Where: Our Lady Queen of the Apostles, 100 Crestwood Blvd., Royal Palm Beach

When: 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22

Admission: Free

Punkin Chunkin

What: Teams catapult pumpkins in competition to see who can chuck their gourd the farthest.

Where: Community of Hope, 14055 Okeechobee Blvd., Loxahatchee Groves

When: Sunday, Oct. 23; event begins at 4 p.m. and chunkin begins at 5:30

Admission: Free; drinks and food available to purchase

Build a Bone Bridge

What: Design and build your own bone bridge while watching Disney Pixar’s “Coco.” The movie runs 109 minutes and is rated PG. The events is for ages 5-12.

Witch Crafting: Stinky, Sticky, Smelly Science

What: Children ages 8-12 make participate in spooky science experiments including captive glass clouds, edible ooze and a color-changing brew.

When: 3:30 to 4:45 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28

Trunk-or-Treat

What: Acreage Athletic League’s second annual Trunk-or-Treat, with trunk and costume contests

Where: Samuel Friedland Park, 18500 Hamlin Blvd., Loxahatchee

When: 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28; costume contest begins at 7

Admission: Free

Autumn Sing-along

What: Live music for families with Chloe of Chloe’s Kids

Where: The Square, 700 S. Rosemary Ave., West Palm Beach

Halloween Corvette Car Show

What: The Corvette Club of the Palm Beaches hosts its second annual Halloween Car & Truck Show

Where: Food Court parking lot, Mall at Wellington Green, 10300 Forest Hill Blvd., Wellington

When: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29

Kids Club Costume Festival of Fun

What: “Spooktacular” fun in the mall’s Grand Court

Where: Mall at Wellington Green, 10300 Forest Hill Blvd., Wellington

When: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29

Admission: Free

Information: Activities and entertainment include inflatable games, toddler obstacle course, spin art, a complimentary digital photo, jugglers, balloon twisters and airbrush artists. The first 200 children receive a goody bag.

Trunk-or-Treat at OLQA

What: Trunk-or-treat

Where: Our Lady Queen of the Apostles, 100 Crestwood Blvd., Royal Palm Beach

When: 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29

Twilight Tour

What: Twilight Tour at Panther Ridge Conservation Center

Where: Panther Ridge, 2143 D Road, Loxahatchee Groves

When: 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29

Admission: $25 for ages 2-12 and $50 for ages 13 and older

Information: Explore the center when its 10 species of exotic cats are at their most active. Docents and keepers provide educational information, and food and drinks — beer, wine, soda and water — are included. Tickets are available by calling 561-795-8914 or going to www.pantherridge.org.

Trunk-or-Treat at Wellington High

What: Trunk-or-treat hosted by Wellington High School’s DECA Club for children ages 10 and younger, with music, refreshments, crafts, a children’s costume contest and more.

Where: Wellington High School, 2101 Greenview Shores Blvd.

When: 1 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30

Admission: Free

Information: The event is made possible through the DECA Club’s partnership with the Christopher Aguirre Memorial Foundation.

Halloween Storytime

What: Children ages 2-5 in costumes hear stories, sing songs, make a craft and take part in a parade around the library.

When: 10:15 to 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 31
