A popular chain specializing in customizable and gourmet macaroni and cheese dishes just opened its newest location near Wellington.

I Heart Mac and Cheese — styled as I ❤️ Mac and Cheese — opened Monday in the Marketplace at Wycliffe shopping center on the northwest corner of Lake Worth Road and State Road 7.

The restaurant, 4095 State Road 7 #Q1, celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting with the Wellington Chamber of Commerce and Wellington Mayor Anne Gerwig, according to a news release.

I Heart Mac and Cheese’s hours will be 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

The menu at I Heart Mac and Cheese includes a variety of traditional and more creative macaroni and cheese options. Gluten-free pasta is available. Customers can customize their mac and cheese by adding a variety of cheeses and toppings, including broccoli, tomatoes, bacon and pulled pork.

In addition to the customizable options, I Heart Mac and Cheese also offers a selection of signature dishes for customers to choose from. These signature dishes feature unique combinations of ingredients and flavors, providing an easy choice for those who prefer not to create their own dish, like lobster and white truffle mac and cheese, short rib Philly mac and cheese, and chicken parmesan mac and cheese

There is a range of grilled cheese sandwiches, with classic, BLT, Cuban and build-your-own. Vegan dishes include a vegan melt grilled cheese, vegan delight mac and cheese, and vegan classic mac and cheese.

The chain also has locations in Palm Beach County in Jupiter and Boca Raton.
