A popular fast-food burger chain with its origins in the Midwest just opened its third Palm Beach County location — and its first on Wellington’s edge.
Culver’s opened Sept. 11 at 15339 Southern Blvd. in Loxahatchee Groves, east of B Road and the Aldi and Wawa on the same northeast corner of that intersection.

The chain that started in Wisconsin is known for its ButterBurgers and custard. Social media reviews so far have been positive. The two other Culver’s restaurants in Palm Beach County are in Jupiter and Lake Park.
The restaurant is open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. If you’re looking for a job, four positions are listed as open on the Culver’s website: two assistant managers and two crew members.

Loxahatchee Groves officials first approved the site plan for Culver’s back in 2021. It’s on a little over an acre and is part of the larger Groves Town Center development that includes a yet-to-open Wawa, an Aldi grocery store and a new El Car Wash.
In addition to burgers and custard, Culver’s serves chicken sandwiches, fish and shrimp dishes, sandwiches, soups, kids’ meals and sides like chili cheddar fries, onion rings and cheese curds. Because it wouldn’t be a Wisconsin-based restaurant without Wisconsin cheese curds.
The restaurant has an indoor seating area in addition to the drive-thru.
