Looking for a way to treat Mom — or yourself, if you’re Mom — for Mother’s Day?
With the day we honor our mothers or maternal figures just around the corner on May 14, I’ve put together a list of things you can do on and around Mother’s Day. Most of these are in or around Wellington and Royal Palm Beach, but I’ve thrown in a few fun events that require a bit of a drive.

Made for Moms With Love: 3:15 to 4 p.m. at The Acreage Branch Library, 15801 Orange Blvd., Loxahatchee. Celebrate your mom, grandma, aunt or other special person in your life by making them a card and a small bouquet of flowers. For ages 6-10. Information: Call 561-681-4100 to preregister
May 10
All About Moms Fashion Show: 6 p.m. at the Mall at Wellington, 10300 Forest Hill Blvd., Wellington. Local moms star in this fashion show, with music by DJ Doozie. There will be gift card giveaways, photo ops, hair and makeup tips, and an Instagram contest with a change to win a $500 shopping spree. This event is free and registration is not required. Make It for Momma: Mother’s Day Craft: 4 p.m. at the Royal Palm Beach Branch Library, 500 Civic Center Way, Royal Palm Beach. Make your own Mother’s Day gift. Supplies are provided. For ages 6 and older. Information: Call 561-790-6040 to preregister
May 12
Senior Mother’s Day Lunch: Noon to 2:30 p.m. at the Royal Palm Beach Recreation Center, 100 Sweet Bay Lane, Royal Palm Beach. This event for seniors includes lunch, a DJ and raffle prizes. Tickets are $3. Information: 561-790-5124
May 13
Mother’s Day Tea: 1 to 5 p.m. at Yesteryear Village at the South Florida Fairgrounds, 9067 Southern Blvd. Enjoy tea, sandwiches, scones, sweets and coffee, plus activities and entertainment. This event is for moms with children ages 7 and younger; a separate tea time for ages 8 and older is sold out. Admission is free for ages 2 and younger, $20 for ages 3 and older, and $17 for seniors age 60 and older. Ticket sales end at noon May 10. Information: Click here to buy tickets
May 14
Mother’s Day Celebration: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Grandview Public Market, 1401 Clare Ave., West Palm Beach. Enjoy specials from local vendors, including a free sparkling wine or mimosa for moms dining at Isla & Co. Flowers from Judith will have free sunflower bouquets for moms — one per family while supplies last — and free coffee provided by Isla & Co. Information: Click here

Mother’s Day Concert: 7 p.m. at the Royal Palm Beach Cultural Center, 151 Civic Center Way, Royal Palm Beach. Enjoy a Mother’s Day-themed concert from the Royal Palm Beach Community Band. Admission is free. Information: 561-790-5196
